About the Conference: The past few decades have witnessed remarkable advancements in sophisticated circuits, algorithms, and systems, aimed at addressing a myriad of complex problems. These cutting-edge hardware and software platforms have materialized solutions in tangible forms. A significant portion of these innovations has taken shape as portable, embedded, or wearable devices and systems, while others have evolved into distributed, decentralized, and extensively networked structures, forming the backbone of cloud computing. Among the pioneering technologies emblematic of these breakthroughs is the System on Chip (SoC), which encompasses or enables many of these remarkable achievements.

SoC technology comprises a multitude of cooperating, interacting, and potentially heterogeneous hardware, firmware, and software sub-systems. Moreover, in recent times, the design & manufacture of chips has not only been aimed at AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications but also the design and manufacturing processes themselves have been revolutionized through the use of AI techniques.

A global semiconductor revolution is in the making. As the world edges closer to a global semiconductor revolution, several countries, including India, stand at the threshold of this transformative era. The paradigm shift brought about by this revolution holds the potential to reshape industries, economies, and societies on a global scale.

Conference Objectives: The International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Embedded Design (ISED-2024), technically sponsored by IEEE, serves as a premier platform for researchers, academics, professionals, and industry experts to converge and exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences in the fields of intelligent systems and embedded design. The conference aims to foster collaborative endeavours and unveil cutting-edge research that can further drive innovation and development in the interdisciplinary domains of high-performance/low-power circuits, algorithms, electronics, embedded systems, AI chips, and SoC technology, etc.

Developments in these domains will have a significant impact on the future electronic system design and advanced technologies focusing on being user-friendly, eco-sensitive, innovative, and energy efficient. The conference would enable fruitful discussions between experts and other delegates leading to concrete contributions towards advancing the state of the art. We are happy to bring ISED to the underserved regions in our effort to spur wide interest in VLSI Design and electro-optical systems.

Eligibility for Ph.D. Forum: The author must have completed at least one year of a Ph.D. program. Past Ph.D. scholars who have defended their thesis in or after December 2023 are also encouraged to submit.

Presentation: Posters will be introduced in the Ph.D. Forum Session (two minute time slot, one slide) and that will be presented in a full one hour Poster Session.

Publication: Accepted posters will be given two pages in the informal proceedings.

How to Apply: Submit a two-page extended abstract of your research work in PDF format. Send submissions via the link given above in this page.

Paper Format: Papers should be compliant with the guidelines for regular papers.
